EOP STEM Peer Success Coaches
Educational Opportunity Programs (EOP) & Learning Support Services (LSS) are launching a Peer Success Coach program in partnership. Peer coaches are responsible for supporting and providing academic accountability to EOP and non-EOP undergraduate students to foster student success at the STEM Hub Rm 214 located inside the S&E Library.
Students can schedule one-on-one and group sessions with a Peer Success Coach to receive support and co-create academic success plans to further develop a student’s ability to grow their skillset as a successful slug.
You are welcome to download our flyer to post around your offices!

Hello everyone, my name is Alexander Martin-Carrillo. I love going to the beach and going out to eat to spend time with friends and family. As well as playing and watching sports like soccer and basketball. Everyone is unique in their own way, and I like listening to people's perspectives and takes on different subjects. This enables me to give positive and honest feedback to any individual who desires that.
Fun Fact: Favorite food is Vietnamese cuisine.
2nd year / Computer Science with a minor in Linguistics
Hey there! My name is Elliot, I'm a second-year Computer Science: Game Design major and Linguistics minor, and I'm very excited to be joining EOP's staff this year. I like to focus on task management and organizational tools to help students figure out the best way to manage their time well. In my free time, I tend to haunt the rafters as a spotlight operator for CMT San Jose, and I'm a big comic book/video game nerd. I have also been known to make a mean pasta carbonara.
Fun Fact: I have a pretty extensive comic book collection, dating back to the 80s.
